Genuine Suzuki Long Screen and Visor Kit for GSX-S1000F
Not usually something I would buy for a bike but needs must when travelling to and from work on a daily commute for a customer. I was going to go for a different brand but I had read a lot of great reviews for this one. Suzuki is not really a brand I have had much dealing with when it comes to screens etc. A few customers have had these long screen kits. They are reasonably priced and the fitment is perfect with what I have read. Other items in my basket and this screen meant that the shipping was really good value because if you have a few smaller parts this cuts down on shipping individually. Some of the other parts were always going to be an issue in case they scratched the screen. Webike think of all this and pack your items accordingly. The screen and visor kit was packed in a lovely thick bubble wrap and taped closed. The rest of the parts in my order were all padded and therefore, no damage could occur during transit. Webike even tape the entire box closed. EMS fast service is what I chose, the cost was so good and all my items were delivered in 5 days. The screen arrived with me in perfect condition along with the same for the visor and I am not surprised by the amount of bubble wrap that was surrounding them. The screen has a bit of flex which of course you need, I went for the clear colour and dark visor which both look amazing when fitted. Very aggressive looking and as it is a little longer than a standard screen, it really does help with the wind. All the bolt holes are perfectly made and aligned exactly to where they needed to be. Not really much else to say about it until I actually take a ride out. All together, I am very pleased with how it looks and how it all went together. Not a tough job for anyone. Special tools are required.
Helmet inSpace is small, so a Rear Carrier is essential if you want to stow your helmet.
There is a Slide type, Type that gains height, but I didn't want to have an extreme change in center of gravity.
Grease is not included and is required separately.
(I had a Bell Hammer, so I substituted that)
It is better to have ERingPrimer.
The spring is stiffer than expected, so I felt that a little ingenuity was required to assemble it.
(I shrunk the Spring, tied it with a nylon rope, assembled it, and inserted the ERing.)
Also, the Bolt of the moving parts is Quantity.:Pair (for Left and Right) Both are 14mm, so I bought more sockets.
The fuel supply port cover can be easily removed with a pick tool.
If the procedure was followed, it seemed possible to proceed without removing the interior lining.
