I'll ask the store to get lost in the exchange (LOL).
I'm still doing it. I did it (laughs).
Front and rear wheel bearings were replaced.
OEM→Type with small iron balls like Nintan
This time →Roller formula
As was the case with Steering, ball-type bearings are not very durable, so I switched to roller-type bearings.
Motorcycle wheel bearing
......Motorcycle wheel bearings are parts called bearings that are built into the wheels.
The bearing itself supports the rotating shaft in the machine and is used to support the rotors, gears, and other components. "Things." It is incorporated to reduce frictional resistance between the body and bearing, to prevent vibration, and to obtain smooth rotation of the tire.
Replacement frequency is
The range is said to be 20,000 to 30,000 km, but there is no particular rule. GoLogoLo" It is considered to be time for replacement when a feeling of 。
→ If left as is, poor lubrication can cause the inner and outer rings and steel balls to seize, which can cause the bearings to lock or break.
I did the replacement on my own, but I think it would be better to ask a store to do it if possible.
It's a difficult task.
Here are the steps based on my own experience.
Procedure Same before and after
(1) Remove the Wheel from the vehicle body.
↓
(2) Remove wires, hubs, etc. from Wheel.
↓
(iii) Make it completely Wheel-only. 。
See the bearing-like ring in the middle of the wheel? This is Bearing.
↓
(4) BoltAnchor is used to extract Bearing.
↓
(5) Tighten the Anchor and let the Bearing bite. 。 Soak the bearing in CRC on the outer ring to make it easier to pull out.
↓
(6) Dryer warms the housing fully and expands the housing to make it easier to pull out. 。 If you keep it warm enough, it will be very easy to pull out.
Hopefully, Bearing will come out with Anchor bolt.
The other side is tapped out in the same manner. 。
→ This completes the removal.
↓
(7) Clean the area where the wheel bearing will be placed once and apply a thin layer of Grease.
↓
(8) And put in a new Bearing.
You can't get in by brute force.
↓
(9) Bearing is driven into the Wheel using the Bearing Puller.
↓
(10) Return to original and complete.
It is a very simple process, but it is tiring (laughs).
[After exchange]
Tire movement will be totally and utterly Smooth.
I feel like I've been rewarded for my Large weird thoughts.
I think next time I'll ask the store to do it for me (laughs).
