In the machining of sprockets, it is relatively easy to improve the accuracy of the dimensions and shape of the part of the tooth that contacts the chain.
What matters more is the location and diameter of the center hole and bolt holes.
No matter how precise the tooth profile is, it is meaningless if the attachment part is misaligned.
There are many stock parts and aftermarket products that do not take this point into consideration.
It is a common story that when you are checking the space of the chain, you find that the uneven extension is actually caused by the eccentricity of the sprocket.
In order to solve this problem, ISA has succeeded in dramatically improving not only the accuracy of each machined part but also the dimensional accuracy between them by eliminating misalignment as much as possible and making the process continuous.
In addition, the tolerance of the center hole and the bolt hole is kept as small as possible to minimize the eccentricity during installation.
The results of these pursuits can be seen in the absorbent fit when worn.
The surface is anodized with 50 microns of hard anodized aluminum to increase wear resistance and enhance the beauty of the machining process.
