When secondary air (fresh air) enters the exhaust port, it may cause a backfire in the head pipe and exhaust, especially on modified sport bikes.
This is because the remaining gas mixes with excess oxygen and spontaneously ignites in the high temperature.
The block-off plate (machined aluminum) cancels the secondary air intake system on some models.
Remove the stock plate attached to the head cover and replace it.
By preventing secondary combustion in the exhaust port, it enables precise setting and maximizes the potential of the machine.
