■Selection 1 - Outer Rotor

[control the heat, control the speed, master the braking]
The shape of the outer rotor is the most important part of the brake disc.
How to convert kinetic energy into heat efficiently and how to receive it.
The materials and shapes required for this purpose are constantly evolving.
Two types of outer rotors that can be selected according to use and scene.


■Selection 2 - Plate thickness

[0.5mm dramatically changes the brake feeling]
Little-known disc rotor thickness change.
It is common in the racing world, and the difference in brake feeling by changing the thickness is overwhelming.
Tuning of the plate thickness can be dobe because of Premium Racing.

[Advantages and disadvantages of increasing the thickness of the outer rotor]
Advantages
・As the amount of piston protrusion is reduced, the brake feeling is more direct.
・The increase in thermal capacity makes it more resistant to thermal strain.
・The heat resistance is improved and the lever is stabilized.

Disadvantages
・Some calipers may not be able to be installed.
・The weight will increase.
・The price will increase.

Disc rotors with a thickness of 6.0 mm or more are used in the highest racing categories such as the Superbike World Championship and the All Japan Championship.

Succeeded in increasing rigidity by evolving from conventional spokes.
The simple design matches with vehicles of any age.

・M Type (Mesh type)
Excellent in weight M Type.The weight is reduced while maintaining the necessary rigidity.
It is designed to match the latest supersports.

・L Type (Lightweight Type)
The L Type is designed with the highest priority on weight reduction.
By reducing the weight of the disc rotor, which is the weight under the spring, the performance of the vehicle is improved.

■Selection 4-Floating type

[The future standard for brake tuning, choosing brake feeling]
The floating specification greatly affects the brake feeling.
Full floating specification for improved heat dissipation and a more stable feeling.
Wave washers reduce pin wear, and the semi-floating design makes it easy to use in any driving situation.

・Semi-floating
Because it is tensioned by the wave washer, it is almost immobile.
This reduces the wear of the floating pin and makes it easy to maintain.
In addition, it does not push back the brake pads and can be used anywhere.

・Floating
The outer rotor is not fixed by the clearance without the wave washer, so it is movable.
As a result, the brake pads are in contact with the brake pads for a shorter period of time, which results in superior heat dissipation and improved brake feeling.
