[Description]
This is a kit to install QSS (Quick Sift System) which is standard equipment on MT-09 (2017 model) and MT-10 to MT-09 Tracer (2017 model).
[What is QSS (Quick Sift System) ?]
The shift switch is attached to the shift change linkage to enable quick upshifting without disengaging the clutch.
When the shift switch detects an upshift operation, the ECU instantly corrects the engine output and cancels the driving torque of the engaged gear to support the upshift.
This system was originally developed for racing because it allows the driver to shift without returning the accelerator or disengaging the clutch.
・It works only when the following three conditions are met: the speed is over 20km / h, the engine speed is over 2000rpm, and the bike is accelerating.
・This function is available only during upshift operation.Shift down is not supported.
・It will not operate while the clutch is depressed.
Starting with the MT-09 Tracer (2017 model), this switch can be installed as a retrofit option and is pre-wired so that the ECU and meter are already compatible and can be connected to the switch.

Caution
*This product is not compatible with MT-09 Tracer (2015 / 2016 model) and XSR900 (2016 model).
*Bracket Reflector (BS2-85132-00), Bolt / Flange (95022-06025), Washer and Plate (90201-082P2) are required when installing on XSR900 (2018 model).
