[Description]
SP Takekawa Steering Damper Kit (125mm stroke) must be installed at the same time.
By using the special steering damper bracket and installing it on the vehicle, it absorbs the swaying of the steering wheel and the kickback from the road surface, and improves the driving safety.
The damper bracket is fixed to the front fork with a two-piece structure to hold it firmly and improve maintainability.The damper bracket and frame bracket are both machined from aluminum with silver anodized surface.

- This product is only for models equipped with SP Takegawa's Big Throttle Body Kit.
- It needs to remove the stock air cleaner box to install.
- Exclusive for SP Takegawa steering damper kit (stroke 125mm).
- This product is only for model with the listed model and frame numbers. It cannot be installed on any other model.
- This product is a special damper bracket kit for SP Takegawa's steering damper (06-01-0070). This product cannot be used on steering damper TYPE-1 (06-01-300)
- This product is designed for models equipped with SP Takegawa Big Throttle Body or SP Takegawa Air Filter Kit for stock Throttle Body. This product cannot be installed on models equipped with a stock air cleaner box.
- It is possible to install with SP Takegawa compact cooler, but for the compact cooler kit with oil cooler mount position under the frame, it needs to change the direction of the oil cooler and the oil hose due to the space limitation. You will need to purchase the oil hose separately.
- Please prepare the service manual for the compatible model and follow the installation instructions carefully. This instruction manual and service manual are intended for people with basic skills and knowledge. If you do not have experience in installation, or if you do not have the necessary tools, skillls and knowledge, we recommend that you contact a technically qualified store.
- Due to the steering damper stroke, there is a possibility that the damper rod may interfere with the left foot when the steering wheel is turned fully to the left. Please use with caution.
- This instruction manual is intended for people with basic skills and knowledge. If you are not experienced in installation or do not have the necessary tools, please do not install the product, and ask a designated or certified factory to install it.
- If the steering damper is not maintained properly, such as if there is a rattle in the steering, the steering damper will not perform to its full potential. Please carry out maintenance correctly.
- Attach the holder to the air cleaner box attachment stay on the stock frame. Be careful not to shake the holder or steering damper with a strong force as this will cause the stay to flex on the stock frame.
- The color of the anodized aluminum products may fade over time.
