[Description]
The Complete Engine is a high quality engine that has been assembled by SP Takegawa mechanics with proper control of each part.
■17R Stage+D Based on the stock head shape, large diameter valve intake: 26mm / exhaust: Adopt 22.5mm.(12V Monkey stock valve diameter is intake: 19mm / exhaust: 16mm)
This is SP Takegawa's original cylinder head which adopts the most suitable valve pinching angle, combustion chamber shape and port shape for large diameter valves.
The port diameter of the stock head is 14mm for both intake and exhaust, while the port diameter of the 17R stage is 14mm for intake and exhaust: 24.5mm / exhaust: Larger diameter of 19mm.
In addition, the adoption of a 3-dimensional port shape, combined with the larger diameter of the valve and port, makes it possible for more intake and exhaust gases to flow smoothly.
Valve: (Intake 26mm / Exhaust 22.5mm Valve stem shaft diameter 4.5mm)
The weight increase due to the larger diameter of the valve is kept to a minimum by the narrower stem shaft and waist machining.
Valve Springs: The single valve spring with unequal pitch (2-stage pitch) is adopted for optimum spring rate and suppresses surging at high rpm.
■Auto Decompression Camshaft
Auto decompression function: The engine can be started with a light kick force even on high compression and high displacement engines.
There are three types of camshafts, R-10E, R-15E and R-20E, and you can change them according to your application and enjoy the riding performance.
Complete engine included camshaft is 88cc / scut 106cc: R-10E.
■You can choose from two types of displacement: 88cc and 106cc scat.
■Cylinder & Piston
The 88cc is equipped with an aluminum steel sleeve cylinder, and the 106cc scuttle is equipped with an all-aluminum ceramic cylinder for superior durability, airtightness, and heat dissipation.
SP Takegawa cylinders are equipped with a temperature sensor as standard.You can measure the cylinder temperature by purchasing SP Takegawa's built-in thermometer or thermometer.

Piston: The piston skirt is coated with molybdenum for better initial adhesion.
■The 88cc / 106cc Scat uses a reinforced crankshaft with a 41.4mm stock stroke.
The X-shaped connecting rod is made of forged material.It is lightweight and strong enough, and its buckling stress diffusion and torsional rigidity are greatly improved.
Surface shot finish.In addition, a special bearing with a larger inner diameter is used for the crankshaft journal bearing.As a result, the shaft diameter of the journal section, where the stress on the crankshaft is concentrated, can be increased from 20mm to 22mm to increase the strength of the shaft.
Moreover, the crank pin of the large end part is enlarged from stock Φ23.1 to Φ25.1 to increase the strength of the large end part.
■Secondary kickstarter systems are equipped with crankshaft support adapters.
The crankshaft journal part has been changed from a 2-point support to a 3-point support to reduce the crankshaft shaking that occurs in the high output and high RPM range and to increase the durability of the crankshaft.
The crankshaft support adapter comes with a special generator cover (*The primary kick starter system uses a two-point crankshaft support.)
■SP Takegawa's original reinforced crankcase is used.
SP Takegawa's reinforced crankcase is a high quality crankcase specially designed to increase the rigidity and detail of the crankcase to cope with the load on the crankcase caused by the larger displacement.
The oil pump is a crankshaft direct drive oil pump.Compared with the chain drive type reinforced oil pump, the discharge volume is about twice as large.
The inner diameter of the breather pipe is 6mm as opposed to the stock 4mm in order to reduce the internal pressure of the crankcase of a large displacement engine.
The crankcase body is equipped with an oil jet mechanism that constantly sprays oil directly onto the small end of the connecting rod and the backside of the piston for lubrication and cooling.
The transmission bearing is equipped with a special bearing hold plate for big torque.
■Super cam chain tensioner is adopted.
It follows the cam chain and maintains the proper tension.The tensioner arm is machined from ultra high strength duralumin material to increase the thickness of the arm body and also to increase the contact area to the push rod.
An oil hole is provided in the arm to lubricate the operating part.The surface is hard anodized.
■You can choose between two types of crankcase: primary kickstarter system and secondary kickstarter system.
The primary type kick starter allows the engine to be started by disengaging the clutch in any gear, and is recommended for racing use where a quick engine start is required when restarting.
In the case of a primary kick, the engine can be started without direct stress on the transmission.
■Reinforced clutch (Clutch specification and clutch cover differs depending on the choice of primary or secondary type)

The TYPE-R has been downsized to reduce the rotating mass weight by approximately 12%.6 friction discs are used to achieve a 6-disc reinforced clutch.
As a result, the clutch capacity is increased by approx. 20% compared with the standard product, and it is applicable to high power engines.The clutch is without a slipper clutch mechanism.
R.Crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum and finished with buffing clear paint. WET / DRY can be selected from two types of operation system, wire type and hydraulic type.The wire type uses a light and smooth rack and pinion system.Clutch cable 850mm included.
Hydraulic type includes clutch master cylinder, mesh hose (775mm) and banjo.
WET (wet): The wire type clutch cover is made of forged aluminum with a shot finish, and the hydraulic type clutch cover is made of machined aluminum with a clear anodized finish.

■TAF 5 Speed Cross Transmission (S Touring) It has high durability and excellent operability.The complete engine uses the S Touring gear ratio.
■Super Street Outer Rotor
It is capable of stable high power output for both street and racing use, while maintaining the same brightness of lights as stock for street driving and a charge level that compensates for the power consumed while riding.
SP Takegawa's rotor body uses a medium size flywheel that is 50% lighter than the stock rotor, reducing the load on the crankshaft and providing "ease of riding and the necessary power generation".
Moreover, the position of the pickup is reviewed, and the best ignition timing corresponding to various displacement is set up, and the high power characteristic and the response that cannot be obtained by a stock rotor are enabled.
■SP Takegawa's original aluminum die-cast generator cover
The specification of the generator cover differs between the primary and secondary types.The primary type adopts a separate type drive sprocket cover, and the sprocket can be replaced by removing only the sprocket cover part without removing the generator cover.

- The kick starter arm is not included. We recommend SP Takegawa's steel forged kick starter arm (chrome-plated) 02-08-0052, as kick starter arms from third party may interfere with the clutch cover.
- In order to get the best performance out of the complete engine, the recommended big bore carburetor and muffler are required separately. This product has been developed for competition use only, and cannot be used on public roads.
- Since the overall length of the engine is different between the stock engine and the complete engine, it needs to change from the stock engine to the one recommended by SP Takegawa.
- The primary kick starter system is a two-point crankshaft.
- The product cannot be installed to fuel injection model.
