[Description]
Two cameras (front and rear) for secure recording
The Astro Scorpio can be equipped with one camera for the front and one for the rear. The objective images of the front and rear of the vehicle can be used as evidence of unexpected accidents or aggressive driving from behind.
Luxury design with 1 camera 1 system X 2 channels
In general, a two-camera system uses one system for two cameras, but the Astro Scorpio is designed to use one system for one camera. The merit is the high image quality which is difficult to compare with the specification data.
It is the only driving recorder that uses LVDS (according to our own research as of July 2019).Astros Scorpio is lithium battery-less.General driving recorders have a lithium battery as an auxiliary power source, and some models require the lithium battery to be replaced. It is also equipped with a system that can supply power in case of emergency.
Wide 150° viewing angle.High resolution 3 million pixels
Compact yet wide 150° viewing angle. The high quality Full HD 3.0 megapixels will save your precious videos beautifully.
Not just video, but date, time, location, and speed.
Built-in accelerometer and GPS display the information when running. You can also save the video as a still image. The date and time are automatically set by receiving GPS.
Dustproof and waterproof
Completely waterproof against the harmful effects of strong water jets from all directions. It is designed to withstand sudden rain, poor road conditions, gravel roads and muddy conditions.
The top and bottom of the camera can be rotated 360° depending on where the pedestal is mounted
High quality and high capacity 32GB SD card 2pcs included
Speed class 10, UHS-1 new standard for fast transfer speed! You can quickly backup (copy) your camera data to your computer.
Installation Procedure
1. Determine the position of the camera
Roughly determine the front and rear camera positions.
Determine the position of the GPS antenna.
2. Determine the position of the main unit
The mounting position of the controller (switch) is also determined.
3. Connect the wires
Once all the positions are determined, connect the wires.(The power supply line does not need to be connected.)
Connect the computer to the camera and use the amcap software to check the direction, height and reflection of the camera, and decide the shape of the camera base and fix the camera.(Do not insert the micro SD card at this time)
Decide the position of the main unit and the route of the wiring, pass each wire to the necessary place, and organize the excess wires by bundling them.
4. Download the application AMCAP
AMCap is a tool that captures videos taken with a PC webcam and saves them directly to your hard disk.
5. Determine the interrupt position of the power supply
When interrupting the power supply, use a fuse to ensure safe connection.
Finally, connect the power supply wire to the main unit.
Insert the micro SD card into the main unit, turn on the key and check the power supply.
After the power is turned on, check that the LED indicator on the controller is flashing blue.*It may be difficult to pick up GPS signal when working in a room.In this case, the blue flashes faster.(When you go outside, it picks up the GPS and flashes normally.) If you have trouble picking up the GPS, change the position of the GPS antenna.
