Our concept of "protecting your smartphone" has remained unchanged for the past 10 years since we started developing iPhone cases.
This time, we have designed and manufactured the case for iPhone 11 with the theme of "easier to use and more protection".
The case is made of solid duralumin called "A2017" which is used for aviation, space and racing parts.
We use duralumin A2017S made by Furukawa-Sky (UACJ Co., Ltd.), which is said to be the highest quality among them.
The protrusion of the four corners of the Solid Bumper is not a mere design feature, but is a necessary thickness to absorb the impact from the four corners when the product is dropped.
These four corners play a major role in protecting your smartphone.
This lightweight and rigid case is precision machined from solid duralumin to protect your iPhone from external shocks.
[Designed to protect]
We sometimes get an opinion from a customer that "all of GILD Design's cases have 4 corners and they don't look different from each other".
When a smartphone falls, it usually tilts and falls from one of the four corners.
Commonly used "Aluminum case with same thickness in all four corners" may be deformed by the shock of dropping.
The case made by GILD Design is designed by stress analysis by 3D CAD, and above all, it is designed to be able to use the case without deformation even if it is dropped many times by actual drop test.
The design of a "case that is easy to use and protects," ended up with that shape.
The GILD Design case is not fancy looking, and is a bit of a hassle since it is bolted on and off.
Even so, we prioritized "stress-free operability" and "a structure that can withstand accidental drops and refraction loads".
We want to protect your iPhone for at least 2 years even if your GILD Design case is falling apart.

We have designed the part where the bumper touches the finger so that there is no uncomfortable feeling.
You can also operate the frequently used swipe smoothly.
We have completed many prototypes to make it easy to hold and comfortable to wear on iPhone 11.
The lightning cable, volume buttons, and all other parts are designed so as not to affect the operability of the device.
Protects the delicate lens surface as much as possible.
A rubber O-ring is included to prevent the bolt from loosening.
Attaching it together with the screw will eliminate looseness.
Collar bolt set (sold separately) (Model no: GI-305) also has the same bolt size, so it can be used for iPhone 11 compatible cases.
Strap holes are standard.
A strap can be attached to the bottom left of the front so it won't get in the way during calls.
You can put it in your pocket smoothly.
The cradle (Apple stock Lightning USB cable compatible) is also compatible with the iPhone 11.
