HYMEC", MAGURA's hydraulic clutch system, has been standard since it was first used in KTM in 1997.
The HYMEC is a bolt-on kit for a compact hydraulic system that replaces a wired clutch lever and wire.
The operating oil is MAGURA blood mineral oil, which is friendly to the human body and the environment.(Never use DOT fluid.)
The master cylinder of the current model has been updated to the new design 167 type, and the operability and durability have been improved.
[Advantages of replacing a wire clutch with a "HYMEC" clutch]
・The hydraulic system is not affected by the deterioration of the wire, so it is maintenance free and the operating feel is always the same.
・When the clutch plate wears out, the necessary oil is automatically supplied from the reservoir tank, so the operating point of the lever side does not change.
・Easy to pull the lever.
・There is no loss of transmission such as wire stretching, which allows for more direct operation.
