■CNC machined calipers
HEL calipers are machined from a race grade 6082-T6 aluminum block and are precision machined down to the last detail.
It also contributes to the weight reduction of the caliper.
■Circuit Technology
Unlike some calipers which are supplied with fluid only from one side passage, HEL calipers use a complete fluid circulation circuit technology.
This function allows the fluid to circulate completely inside the caliper, thus removing the air inside the caliper quickly.
This also helps to avoid overheating of the calipers and brake fade.
■Stainless steel heat sink piston
HEL's own stainless steel pistons.
This acts as a heat sink to speed up cooling and draw out the extreme temperatures generated by the piston.
This keeps the fluid at the optimum operating temperature, stabilizes the boiling point (depending on fluid specification) and allows for powerful braking and consistent feel without fade.
■World Class R & D
HEL Brake Lab develops brake products based on the huge amount of track data collected from the superbike and road race teams supported by HEL.
The design of the new calipers is based on worst-case scenario calculations and data obtained from these calculations.
Front braking force, structural integrity, stiffness, and displacement resistance are all fully optimized for long term limited use.
HEL caliper (for front) is supplied with caliper spacer, bleed nipple, banjo bolt and washer.
HEL rear calipers are supplied with pads, pad springs, banjo bolts and washers.
Cerakote ceramic coatings enhance many physical performance characteristics, including scratch (abrasion/wear) resistance.(Corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, hardness)
