This is a kit to install a sensor (push type or pull type) on the shift pedal to allow upshifting without using the clutch and without returning the throttle. Carbureted vehicles can be shifted up by turning off the ignition momentarily (ignition cut), while injected vehicles can be shifted up by cutting the ignition or fuel. By adjusting the ignition cut and fuel cut time precisely, you can make the shift time without waste. It can be adjusted (with LED panel) without the need to connect to a computer, allowing for quick changes and adjustments. It is ideal for use as a kill module for drag racing air shifters. While most of the other companies use an analog system, the Next Up is a digital system that allows you to set up an accurate cutting time. If your vehicle has a shift position sensor, you can program the kill time for each gear separately by connecting the sensor. The shorter the kill time and the more accurate the shift, the more time you will lose. Model specific kit includes main unit, model specific harness for injection models, push or pull sensor switch, and universal rod kit.
■Shift sensor Push type and pull type are available. Install this into the change rod using the supplied rod.
■Optional Harness for Injection Vehicles Available for 4" injectors and 8" injectors.
■Universal Quick Shifter Kit for Z and other carbureted vehicles Includes a basic wiring harness, a universal rod kit for use with the change pedal, and a push or pull type sensor switch.
