The garage entrance/exit area is sloped, and the tech tiles can come off when entering and exiting the garage.
Gluing several rows of TEC tiles together may make it more difficult for them to come off.
Use an adhesive capable of bonding polypropylene.
*Adhesive installation and processing should be performed at the customer's own discretion.When using the product on a rooftop or balcony, make sure that it will not be blown away by the wind.
*Material Characteristics
TEC-TILE is mainly made of polypropylene resin, which may cause thermal expansion, cold shrinkage, and warpage in accordance with the material properties.
When installing TEC Tiles in areas that are particularly exposed to sunlight (where heat is applied) or where the installation area is large, do not lay TEC Tiles on a single floor, but divide the floor into two or three sections, and provide sufficient clearance between walls and divided tiles.
*About Scratched
TecTile is a synthetic resin product designed to protect the original floor or to create a garage, floor, or space.
The original floor is well protected, although the TechTile itself will be scratched by grounding from sidestands, center stands, garage jacks, machine tools, and the like.*However, this does not apply when extreme loads are applied.
If you are concerned about scratches, we recommend using commercially available side stand pads or rubber sheets together.
*About the displacement
When entering or exiting a vehicle, the tech tile may shift due to acceleration or steering wheel operation.
Please make sure to enter and exit slowly (about a creeping phenomenon).
The floor (earthen floor) to be installed and the tech tile must have frictional resistance between them.
When installed on a floor with low frictional resistance, the tiles may shift or come off simply by moving the vehicle or turning the steering wheel. A thin rubber sheet or similar material can be placed between the floor and the tech tile to reduce shifting or coming off.
*Combination and removal
Tek-Tek tiles are made to be easily combined and removed for use not only in garages, but also at events and exhibitions.
If the combination is too hard, it is not easy to combine and very difficult to remove, making installation and removal time consuming.
Tek-Tek tiles are moderately hard for smooth installation and removal.Please check the video.
