[Special Clutch Cover TYPE-R (WET) Details]
■Die-cast aluminum R. crankcase cover is adopted.
The surface is painted silver.
WET and DRY R. Crankcase cover shape is common, so it is possible to change both wet and dry specifications after purchase.
The clutch part has a separate chamber structure, and in the case of a wet clutch, the engine oil and the clutch oil can be separated.(Brand name, specification, etc.)

■Clutch cover Clutch cover is available in two types: wire type and hydraulic type.
The wire type uses a forged aluminum clutch cover and a rack and pinion system that is known for its light and smooth operation.
The hydraulic type has a machined aluminum clutch cover.
The play of the lever does not change easily, and the clutch operation is excellent.
The surface of the machined aluminum clutch cover is silver anodized.
The center of the clutch cover is laser marked with the "HYDRAULIC" logo.

Also, the engine response will be improved by reducing the load on the crankshaft.
By installing the oil through nut, the oil line leads to the crankshaft.
Because it passes through the oil element, clean oil always flows to the crankshaft.

Overcooling can be prevented by installing optional thermostat unit when SP Takegawa's oil cooler kit (with the specification that oil is taken out from the clutch cover) is installed.
*Must be installed with SP Takegawa oil cooler kit.

■The oil line that flows to the cylinder head side can be changed via the oil element.
By installing the oil line hose kit (sold separately), oil flowing to the head side can also pass through the oil element.
This prevents engine damage caused by oil sludge.
To install the oil line hose, the oil outlet boss on the SP Takegawa big bore cylinder must be used.


[Special Clutch Inner Kit TYPE-R Details]
There are two types of kits, one for the stock main shaft (stock transmission) and the other for the special clutch-only cross transmission, which can be selected according to the transmission to be used.
For the stock main shaft, there is a SP Takegawa TAF 5-speed cross transmission that is partially compatible.Please check the precautions.
The special adapter for the stock main shaft enables the installation of the special clutch with the stock main shaft (stock transmission).
This eliminates the need to disassemble the crankcase and allows the clutch to be assembled with the engine still mounted in the vehicle.

■6-disc specification
By reducing the diameter of the rotating parts such as the clutch outer, the loss of horsepower due to oil diffusion is reduced, the response is further improved, and the rotating mass weight is reduced, so the engine power can be transmitted without waste.
Six-disc design is realized by using five friction discs and one judder friction disc.
This reduces judder when starting and at the same time increases the clutch capacity to accommodate high power engines.
In addition, the clutch unit can be used for both wet and dry clutches, making it possible to change the specifications for both.
When changing from a dry clutch to a wet clutch, the clutch can be used without modification.*Only when there is no replacement of consumables.In addition, clutch cover etc.are required separately.
Two types of clutch construction are available with and without a slipper clutch. The slipper clutch mitigates the shock of sudden engine braking caused by downshifting at high RPM.
This reduces sudden posture changes, rear tire hopping, and load on the engine.
Built-in rubber damper to reduce shock to gears when primary driven gear clutch is connected.
