5.5-inch Bates Headlight Kit that simply replaces the stock LED headlight on the Harley X500 to increase brightness.
Luminescence color is white 6000 Kelvin.

The stock LED headlights on the Harley X350 and X500 are not bright enough to meet the rider's expectations.
Unlike normal bulb-type headlights, the stock LED headlights cannot be upgraded by simply replacing the bulb with an aftermarket LED bulb to increase brightness.
This product enables to install PROTEC H4 LED bulb by replacing the headlight unit, and the headlight will be many times brighter.
・5.5-inch Bates headlight
The lens of the stock LED headlights has the LED board arranged horizontally, which may cause some users to feel that the design is aesthetically awkward for a headlight.
By adopting the familiar lens cut of a Bates light, you can achieve a more approachable and classic appearance.
The headlight is almost the same size as the stock headlight, so it is the most suitable and well-balanced finish for the X350 and X500.
・Available color temperatures are 6000K and 3000K
Choose from two colors: 6,000 Kelvin, a blue-white emission typical of LEDs, or 3,000 Kelvin, a more classic halogen bulb-like color.
The maximum luminous intensity of the high beam is 43,100 candela.
Additionally, the high beam's peak luminous intensity is 26,400 candela, and the light axis can be adjusted within the standard range without scattering.
PROTEC has introduced BANZAI's HT-322 headlight tester to measure during development.
*Measurements are taken with Bates headlights with LBH-HD1, HD2, HD3 and HD4.
For LHL-HD1, HD2, HD3 and HD4, the same measurements are obtained when used with Kijima or POSH Faith 5.5-inch Bates Light.
・Adoption of reliable CREE LED!
A total of 6 CREE XLamp XP-L LEDs (3 for Hi beam and 3 for Lo beam) are used as light emitters.
・Waterproof electric fan cooling
A really bright LED generates heat due to the large input current and becomes hot.
In order to cool down the heat, this product adopts a cooling system with a highly durable waterproof electric fan.
It is essential equipment to maintain stable brightness.

*Install the product correctly according to the instruction manual.Improper installation may result in fire or equipment damage.
*Before installation, be sure to disconnect the terminal cord on the minus side of the battery and confirm that the key is OFF.
*Please do not touch or get the LED chip dirty.Dirt can cause the LED chip to burn due to heat being built-up.The LED bulb comes with an acrylic cap with a sealing seal.
*Please handle this product with care as it is a precision instrument.Do not drop the product or pull the wires forcibly.Improper handling may cause malfunction, injury, burns, or serious accidents that may result in death.In addition, sparks, poor insulation, or short-circuiting may cause a failure of the product or a fire in the vehicle.
*Do not disassemble or modify this product in any way.Products that have been disassembled or modified are not covered by warranty.
*Do not look directly at the LED light when it is on.It can cause visual impairment.
*Do not splash water on the lens while the light is on or immediately after it is turned off.Sudden temperature change may cause damage to the lens or LED bulb.In addition, please do not touch the LED bulb itself, the heat sink behind it, and the controller unit because they get to the high temperature.
*This product is only for 12v DC minus common.Be sure to use DC12V as the power source for wiring.
**This product is not compatible with bikes that have an alternating current (AC) powered headlight, which is common in small-displacement motorcycles. Do not attempt to install it on such bikes.
**A "negative common" refers to a type where the negative side of the headlight wiring is shared between the high beam and low beam circuits.Not compatible with vehicles with positive common headlights.
*The compatible Bates light part numbers are No.000021 (POSH Faith) and 205-303 (Kijima).Products other than these are not compatible.
*Do not cover with paper or cloth and do not light near flammable materials.Failure to do so may result in fire or abnormal heating.Also, do not light near flammable items such as flammable spray, thinner, etc. or items that may ignite.
*Do not install to the headlight with the light on.Failure to do so may result in malfunction or burns.
*This product is waterproof for daily life, but it is not completely waterproof.Wrap the coupler coming out of the controller unit with vinyl tape or self-bonding tape, or use caulking agent to waterproof it.Avoid wetting the product with more water than necessary.
*When washing a vehicle with a high pressure washer, please do not let the high pressure wash directly hit this product.
*Please do not drop the LED bulb or controller unit, or give it a strong shock.It not only causes breakage, deterioration of performance and shortening of service life, but also causes injury.
*When assembling the LED bulb, be sure to apply the supplied silicon grease to the areas indicated by the grease marks in the instruction manual.
*Do not cover up the waterproof fan.Make sure that there is enough space behind the fan for the sucked air to flow.
*Use a thread locker to prevent loosening of the threaded part.Periodic retightening is also recommended.
*Installation requires expertise and skill.Please have it done at a designated maintenance facility with skilled mechanics.
*Please adjust the optical axis before use.It may obstruct the view of oncoming vehicles and cause traffic accidents.
