Product Detail
Specification:
[Compatible With] Centrifugal Clutch
[Description]
■Details
This is a reinforced centrifugal clutch kit to solve the clutch slippage that occurs when the Light Big Bore Kit (e-stage / S-stage) is installed on the 6V Monkey (centrifugal clutch vehicle).
It is possible to transmit the performance of the light big bore sufficiently, and the original engine output is demonstrated.
Clutch Structure: The stock weight roller type is changed to the plate weight type, and the weight is further increased to strengthen it.
(Stock centrifugal clutch: 4 pieces x 4 places → 16 pieces) (SP Takegawa centrifugal clutch: 8 sheets x 4 places: 32 sheets)
Assembly Method:Since the reinforced clutch assembly is already assembled, it can be easily installed by simply replacing the stock clutch assembly, clutch outer cover, clutch guide and primary driven gear with the kit parts.
When this kit is installed, the primary reduction ratio will be changed from the stock 3.722 to 4.058. Therefore, if you lower the number of teeth of the drive sprocket by 3T, you can keep the driving feeling before the clutch change.

Caution
- Special tools are required for assembly. (Lock nut wrench / Rotor holder)
- We recommend SP Takegawa special clutch or dry type clutch for models equipped with cylinder head Big Bores other than light Big Bores (R stage / Super head etc).
- Since this reinforced centrifugal clutch is installed on a stock crankshaft, the clutch and crankshaft will be stressed when it is installed on a high-revving, high-output engine, so it needs to use it at an allowable speed of 10000 RPM or less.
- This product is only for model with the listed model and frame numbers. It cannot be installed on any other model.
- This product requires removal and install the clutch Assy. Please prepare the service manual for the compatible model and follow the installation instructions carefully. This instruction manual and service manual are intended for people with basic skills and knowledge. If you do not have experience in installation, or if you do not have the necessary tools, skillls and knowledge, we recommend that you contact a technically qualified store.
- When using this product with a reinforced oil pump, please use SP Takegawa's Super Oil Pump (01-16-0058 / 01-16-0059 / 01-16-0065 / 01-16-0066). Even with SP Takegawa's reinforced oil pump, there is a possibility of interference except for the listed oil pump and the previously sold super oil pump for centrifugal clutches (01-16-0054 / 01-16-0055 / 01-16-0056 / 01-16-0057) , but interference can be prevented by changing some bolts to ultra-low head bolts. However, it's possible to prevent interference by changing some of the bolts to ultra-low head bolts. Please refer to the installation instructions for details.
- Some bolts, nuts, knock pins and packing may be reused, but Make sure to use new ones instead of reusing those that are severely worn or damaged.
- The engine oil should be API SF grade or higher and SAE 10W-40 / 15W-50.
- To install this product, a special tool, lock nut wrench and rotor holder is required. SP Takegawa's part number Lock nut wrench: 08-02-0033 (mouth size 12.7mm) / 08-02-0034 (mouth size 9.5mm) , Rotor holder: 00-01-1001
- Do not use on engines with a displacement greater than 88cc.
- Do not use on R stage / 17R stage / Super head+R / Super head 4V+R / DOHC / DESMO head equipped engines.
- The allowable maximum speed is 10000 RPM or less. The clutch outer may be damaged if it is used over the allowable speed.
- Sprocket adjustment is required due to the change in primary reduction ratio from stock: 18/67 (3.722) to 17/69 (4.058) (As a guide, change the number of teeth on the rear sprocket to about 3 teeth smaller.
