[BMW G310R] Test ride for stunt riding!!

The other day , I had an opportunity that I could ride BMW G310R for stunt riding and professional photographer Mr Kaneyoshi took great pictures.
So , I will write about BMW G310R from stunt riders point of view.
If you wanna check standard spec and street riding information , I recommend you that you should check another article.
I will write about how I feel for making tricks, how to set up on stock condition and potential for stunt riding.
First I cut off the ABS both front and rear brakes. It is very easy. I just take off sensor taking wheel pulse at around caliper. If you did not take off ABS sensor , you can not do anything!
And then , I took off mirrors and changed handlebar position.
Handlebar position is very important.
Usually , we put handlebar position on the extended line of front fork.
Because body action is very important and on that position is most efficient for the front fork stroke control and making front tire traction.
And commonly we always have used higher idling than stock for making wheelie tricks easily but I did not change this time because I wanted to try stock condition and didn’t want to use special customize.
But I did not have so much time to get used to ride on G310R for the stunt riding regardless of completely stock condition.
Because everything was perfect for the stunt riding.
I could make all basically tricks on stock condition such as wheelie circle , stoppie 180 and drift.
I could feel Chris Pfeiffer’s mind from these kind of points.
I’ve ridden very similar bike KTM DUKE390 , but I could not enough control for wheelie circle because torque was weak at the low rpm.
But I could control firmly wheelie circle , regardless of smaller engine capacity compare to KTM DUKE390. This means that this engine’s torque is strong at the low rpm. This is very good for stunt riding , of course good for the street riding.
If you can change shorter sprocket , it will be way better. I guess you can make 2nd gear wheelie easily too.
Next about Stoppie.
There is enough stopping power for the stoppie and very good controllable front fork feeling.
I could make stoppie 270 that is more difficult level trick too.
If you can install radial master pump , you will be able to get better control and better finger position.
Finally about Burnout.
I was worried about that there is enough power for making burnout or not , but I immediately understood that I didn’t need worried when first try. 310cc is enough power for burnout and drift!! I think , low rpm torque is very good for the these kind of tricks.
As described above that I can say this bike is the easiest stunt bike in these category bikes.
Wheelie , stoppie and burnout , you can make all basically tricks by this bike.
You can try stunt riding without special stunt parts. If you worried about , you should use engine cage!
