The Suzuka 8 Hours threw up mixed results for Kawasaki. Team Green’s factory Kawasaki finished second, but Team Kawasaki SRC, a world title contender, threw in the towel.

Honda Team Asia was set-up to develop Asian riders. Tamada participated in Honda Team Asia Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Team from 2012 to 2013 as a rider, and came in the 25th place in 2012.

Leon Haslam returns to Suzuka as part of Team Green Kawasaki. He is looking forward to the 2016 Suzuka 8 Hour with experienced team mates. He hopes all three of us will be walking towards the podium steps.

HONDA will be aiming for the top of the podium at the SUZUKA 8 Hours this year with an aggressive team ever. MuSASHi RT HARC-PRO. with Nicky Hayden and F.C.C. TSR Honda aims the podium.

Suzuka 8 Hours will be held at the Suzuka Circuit from 28th to 31st of July this year. On the 31st of July before the final race, Team38 will be making the first demonstration run in the world with the Ninja H2R equipped with Bonneville Speed Week Specifications.

This year was the 100th anniversary for this historical event. YOSHIHIRO KISHIMOTO of MIRAI, a company that manufactures electrical bikes attended the race and won second place in the Electrical Motorcycle Class and third place overall.
