YAMAHA will be releasing new 110cc street model ”SALUTO RX” at the end of April in India.

Street Model with Excellent Cost Performance

SALUTO RX was developed with the concept to be the ”110cc Street Model of the Next Era”. Retail Price is 46,400 India Rupee. (80,000YEN in Japanese Yen) It offers excellent cost performance and features an active appearance.

Colors are available in four colors; ”Breezy Blue”, ”Matt Black”, ”Gleaming Black” and ”Inspiring Red”.

Mounted with YAMAHA’S New ”110cc Blue Core Engine”

The newly developed ”110cc Blue Core Engine” is designed with optimized combustion chamber structure, functional layout of the cylinder fin and to provide efficient cooling. By eliminating loss and taking optimal control of ignition timing, fuel economy has increased 13% compared to former models.

Technology has been used to reduce weight almost everywhere and weighs only 98 kilograms. The reduced weight has contributed to offer excellent controllability.

The vehicle is designed with front mask and smooth emphasized lines that link with the designs of high class model SALUTO. And offers light and easy to ride pillion rides.

Aimed for India’s Largest Category in Demand

The SALUTO RX will be aiming for the 100cc to 125cc motorcycle category which covers 60% of the annual 16 million scale Indian market.

With the release of Saluto RX, YAMAHA aims to enhance their lineup together with SALUTO, a 125cc model released in 2015 and expand their business in the rural areas of India which are much in demand.
