Last Weekend I had a stunt show in Vietnam Can Tho for Stunt Fest 2017.
Stunt Fest is the biggest stunt contest in Asia and many riders came from neighboring countries such as Indonesia , Thailand , Canbodia , China , Vietnam. And three of us (Aaron Twite from USA , Rafal from Poland and me from Japan) were invited for judgement and professional rider’s stunt show.

First of all , we had to set up our bike at the motorcycle work shop in Ho Chi Minh.

This is my bike. I install every parts that I brought from Japan to this bike.

USA super star Aaron also had to set up own bike.

We stayed for 2 days in Ho Chi Minh and we rented a scooter for movement. But it was nightmare in the city.
There was so much traffic , especially at the commuting time. We spent 30 minute for just 3 km moving by scooter.

After first 2 days , we headed to Can Tho, 170km west from Ho Chi Minh.
Just 170 km but I spent 4 hours for movement because traffic situation was terrible around Ho Chi Minh.

This is Mekong tributary river. And Can Tho is in the Mekong Delta that is spread tributary area of Mekong river.

Mekong river stream come from Tibetan Plateau and through the Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and through out from Vietnam to the sea.

We had press conference for the media such as TV , news paper and internet media.

After the press conference , first is competition of Asian riders.
In Asia , big cylinder engine is so expensive that’s why they have played stunt riding with small engine bikes.
I hope that they can ride real stunt bike someday.
And we judged them.

Winner was Reza from Indonesia. His riding was very good especially flow was very nice.
Honestly their riding skill is still not so high , but I could see that they have a lot of potential of the riding and spirit. They will be stronger riders!

So , this Vietnam trip was my 5th times trip in Vietnam.
I already have been to Ho Chi Minh , Hanoi and Da Nang. I always rented a scooter and visited to many sightseeing spot around each city with stunt friends. That’s why I became to be able to stay alone in Vietnam.
I’m already not only Professional Stunt Rider but also Professional Vietnam Tripper now!!
I love Vietnam.
