Adapter to install BORE-ACE crank response to SR400FI (10-) air cleaner box
Can be used by fitting into the stock breather
Compatible with carbureted bikes from 1993-2008
Installation method
Remove the stock breather
Loosen the band to disassemble (caulking material is applied)
The part to be used is the upper part to fit into the air cleaner box
Fit the BORE-ACE adapter with the stock part (you can turn it, so don't worry about the position)
The band should be temporarily attached to the bike body at the end and secured in the best position
Install the two supplied O-rings on the rigid response mounted on the crankcase and apply a thin layer of grease
Attach the rigid response and adapter to the bike body
Note) Adjust the position of the side decompression hoses according to the body and attach them with the set screw first
Leave the stock rubber, adapter, and band temporarily attached when inserting
Put the stock rubber in between to push it down a little and then rotate it to find the position
When the best position is found, tighten the set screws and bands on the sides to secure
