In order to eliminate the difference in opening and closing angles due to wear and tear of the YPVS joint, the rubber part on the upper side of the holder of the stock part has been eliminated and a machined aluminum part has been produced. (Part Number: BY057)

[Installation notes]
*Before removing the stock YPVS Joint Set, remove the YPVS wire and check if the pulley works properly.
*If the operation is heavy and the movement is sluggish, remove the carbon residue from the YPVS.
*If it works properly, remove the stock joint and install the SPL joint, always tightening the one with the triangle mark first before installation.
*After installation, operate the pulley with pliers, etc., and check that it moves properly.If the pulley does not move smoothly and feels heavy, abnormal wear on the joint part of the YPVS unit may be the cause. While the stock rubber-mounted joint is able to absorb deformation to maintain functionality, the SPL joint is made of aluminum. Therefore, if deformation is present, use a file or similar tool to correct the deformed areas and confirm proper movement before use.
*Please discontinue use of the product if it is extremely deformed.
*Finally, check that the YPVS is aligned at the full opening from the exhaust side.
*Even if the flat section of the YPVS holder is slightly worn, the SPL joint clamps it from above and below, which may alter the opening and closing angles due to the wear. Ensure that the fully open position of the YPVS is aligned when viewed from the exhaust side.
*Wear on the flat area has little effect on operation. However, deformation in the semicircular area can impact functionality. Use a file or similar tool to correct the deformation and ensure there is no misalignment before use.
