Based on research conducted with those who race, the tank cover was designed with the stock shape to allow for maximum "forward leaning" without extending the tank end.
Full-coverage type covering the entire fuel tank / cold press method / double-sided tape is used to secure to the fuel tank.(Already attached on the back side)
[What is cold-pressing?]
Since the product is molded and pressed by female type and male type, the backside of the tank is gel-coated, which makes it very smooth and adheres well to the tank, and there is almost no damage to the tank itself.
Many other tank covers and tank pads from other brands have exposed FRP or carbon materials on the underside, which can cause scratches on the tank. However, with the cold press manufacturing method, the risk of scratches is minimized.
The clearance between the tank side cowl and the tank front cover is minimized during production. However, a slight gap may occur depending on the installation positions of the tank cover and tank front cover (when the stock tank front cover is installed, as there may be individual variations in the hooks of the fuel tank).
Please understand that this product is designed to protect the fuel tank and improve knee grip.
